PS2 Mouse no work after reinstall

    I reinstalled a friend's computer (IMB Aptiva (AMD?) 56MbRam) with Windows 98SE and Office 2000 and now their PS2 mouse doesn't work!!!

    When installing I connected my serial mouse and I think my USB mouse, although I used mostly my serial mouse.

    Do I have to install any drivers or anything? Keyboard still works.

    Sounds like just the mouse is dead (or the ps2 port) :)

    Hi SmileyGuy
    Check the Bios and make sure there are no settings to turn the PS2 port on or off. I have ran across a few older PI and PII systems that the PS2 port can be deactivated.
