Ok i bought the ps2 online network adapter, i went to hook everything up but i realized my wireless reciever doesn't have an ethernet socket. And yes im using broadband/cable. I am on the recieving end of my home network. My real question is can i connect the ethernet cable to my pc instead of the router? Is there a way i can enable it or something so that i don't have t buy a new router or something.... would a network card do the trick?

If your connecting to a PC network card, you need to use a crossover cat5 cable. Is that what your using? Or are you using a straight cat5 cable?
