ps2 rewritable backups

    does ps2 v12 play dvd-rw backups? and what is better dvd-r or dvd+r? thanks, and is there a way cd-rw's might work?

    Not sure if it will play the DVD-RW or not, never used them.
    as far as which is best +R or -R, it depends on what your PS2 has the best success rate with and also what your burner can do.
    I have a burner that can do either, My V7 and my V5/6 PS2's like the DVD-R better. I never have any trouble with those. But i have also had a few +R's work as well. But i prefer the -R.

    thanks a lot, but at compusa they have compusa brand dvd-r 100pk for 15 bucks, do u think they would work well?
