Been reading a lot of posts in here and havnt found any help about this problem .

I tryede for the first time to rip my PS2 game :The Great Escape .

I used Record NOW MAx 4.50 and i made a global image as the guides in here says.

There was 3 gi files made 1 was around the 2Gb the second was around 1 Gb the , i burnt the file 001.gi with RecordNow Max 4.50 also and i went smothly no problms there.

After burning i tested the game i loaded okay, but when it came to the beginng of the game it was like it was on pause and beeing played and paused alle the time !!.

    What went wrong???

Is there some sort of copy protection on the game or am i just doing something terribel wrong ??

    Some INfo :

    Win XP
    2GHZ
    512 DDRAM
Used Record Now MAx 4.50 to Rip And Burn.
Have Pionner Dvr 107D (The new Burner)
Dvd label : Princo 1x (yes i know its slow but it works for me :) )

Thank you for your time and help .
    Sincerly

    maybe bad media??

what brand media did you use?

hve you used this brand before and had it work with no problems??

i had to try several brands before i found some that worked with my ps2.......now i use eihter maxwell or packard bell DVD-R

(and yes, media type CAN affect the game, it's not always a case of JUST choosing a media that will BOOT.......sometimes bad media will let a gaem boot up, but will freeze.lock IN GAME still)

if you have not tried this media before, try a media that you have TESTED and know works

    hope that helps

Try using DVD Decrypter, available FREE from the downloads section on this site. ISO--> Read, ISO--> Write. Simple as that ! I backed up my copy of The Great Escape using this method. Good Luck.
