Hi, i am posing this question and I am sorry if it has already been answered but I have a searched for it and have found nothing. I recently installed a magic v chip into a version 7 ps2. I worked correctly for 1 hour. Then the ps2 reset itself and now the reset button on the ps2 is no longer responsive. I can start the ps2 by way of the eject button and it does run normal ps1 and ps2 games by using this method. I can not find anything wrong with my instalation. Any help would be great.

Check and be sure that the reset wire to the chip isnt being pinched or cut by the case when you put it back together. Also make sure your ribbons are fully inserted into the mobo.
