    I have DMS4 Lite and ps2(slim v12)

"When the PS2 is first turned on or reset, if the Triangle button is held down DMS3 will enter Dev.olution Mode. DMS3 will attempt to load the ELF "mc0:\BOOT\BOOT.ELF". This ELF is reserved for DMS3 Explorer, which is the menu system used for Dev.olution Mode."

    http://www.dms3.com/download/tools/devmode_technical.htm

Can I replace this boot.elf for example with USBADVN.ELF taht will allow me to run my backups from hd conected via USB.

    so in 2 STEPS:
    boot from MC
    run games from USB HD

    please help!

i don't think you want to do that. Im not sure exactly how it works, but you can put the usbadvn.elf on your memory card. Then run the dms3 explorer and load it from there.

Yes I do but I'm not sure ether.
Simple I just want to boot my ps2 from memory (without using laser – I have installed laser fix “NEO-Fix Xii “ time ago, but also replaced my laser 2 times in 6 months) and run games from USB hd using DMS4 technology and I’m trying to find some solutions so far no luck. I have tried usbextreme (cracked), so I have installed some games via pc (shadow of rome and god of war- but I couldn’t load god of war or burnout3 – black screen 5 min. , but shadow of rome – no problems). Thanks for replay.
