Yes, i've looked through the version threads, but what i want to ask is, does ONLY the version 4 PS2 have the hazard warning at the bottom of the PS2? thanks!

what warning would that be? Unless you owned both a V4 and another model how would you be able to tell?

    Type the message out.

Sorry. I'm trying to work out my version of PS2, it says on that website above a version 4 PS2 has a ATTENTION warning hazard sign at the bottom of the PS2, which my PS2 has also.

I'm also asking, does any other version of PS2 have the same warning or only version 4's, thanks.

easiest way to tell is with your version numbers on the silver sticker.
    SCPH-30000, SCPH-30001, 35001, SCPH-30002, 35002, SCPH-30003, 35003, SCPH-30004, 35004
are all V4's. But the way that they wrote that i would have to assume that no other version has the warning or you could not tell a V4 from any other just with that.

Thankyou, i have a SCPH-30003 with the warning sign, so i guess its a version4, i've bought a SLide tool with swap magic, will this work perfect with Verbatim 8x disks? thanks!
