    Hey,

I have a bit of a problem here, i have just bought a network adapter and a netgear me101 wireless to ethernet adapter, i have found that my router also from netgear may have an encorparated modem but for wireless you need to connect a cable to a modem,

    what do i do?!

there should be no problem so long as:
    1) Your router is wireless (pretty obvious)
    2) Your router has built in modem - if not, then:
    3) Your router is connected to a modem

thats pretty much it. Can you get online on ur PC with just the router plugged into it? If so, then it has built in modem.
whats this about a cable to a modem? is that for an external one?

    Hey,

yeh i'm pretty much sure that the cable is for an external modem (but i am 99% sure now that my router has a built in modem) but on the related articles on www.playstation.com it says you need a spare 10/100 port (why?) it says that you need a cable to connect to a spare port in the back of your pc but when I receive it it should just be plug and play.
