    hello,
I am having a problem with my ps3 and my WRT350N. the WRT350N detects my external harddrive(sumodisk 500gb) and it scans it for media. My ps3 can detect the media server but when it lists the files most of them are unsupported files , except 2 file which are .mpg both of which can be played. i have hooked my hard drive directly up to my ps3 and it can play most of the files that way but not the media server way. Is there something i'm doing wrong? why will it play the files direct form the harrdrive and not through tte media server? Help!

Sounds like its the way that the Media-Server encodes the video that it sends. I'm not sure how you would go by fixing that on a standalone player; you would have to look in the manual and find a way to disable the encoding.
