    Hi,

In trying to reball my PS3 slims CPU (CECH-3001A) I had a problem where my CPU got slightly ruined, and a few pads pulled, it can't be used anymore. So I've tried to look for a replacement mobo but haven't been able to get hold of one. So my question is is it possible to replace the CPU from another PS3 of the exact same model? there are no ripped pads on the board, I've heard you have to replace the southbridge and the NAND ect... can anyone confirm this and tell me if it'll work for sure?

    Thanks Brett
