Is any one experiencing problems when plying blue ray moving using the optical output into a surround sound amp. I have a cambrige creative sound works 5.1 surround sound amp which i've had for a few years now which I used with my PS3 to play DVD's no problem but when I use it for my PS3 there is a long delay when whating blu ray and DVD movies. Its nearly bad enough that the lip sync is suffering. Unfortunatley my amp doesn't have any form of adjustment and i'm guessing the PS3 has no way of putting a delay on the picture. Looks like I may need a new amp any recomendations to get the best out of PS3 and the new HDD sound output.

Have you set the PS3 to output audio in BitStream or Linear PCM?
Your audio set-up may not support Linear PCM.

That's a good call. That might be it.
