We've seen a great homebrew on community, much propelled by QJ.net - now my question is "Where's that scene for PS3?"

People are building linux apps for PPC64 successfully for YDL and Fedora on PS3, but does this eliminate any chance of PS3 XMB homebrew? I mean, yeah, I can dual-boot into Linux to download an emulator, but it's not the same as having a PS3-native one. And how about games? LUAPlayer PS3, anyone?

I've heard rumours of Sony-sanctioned homebrew development, for both PS3 and PSP - any truth to these?
