PS3 Video and Sound output settings.

    Does anyone know if its possible to run sound out of the composite cables, and video through the hdmi at the same time? or do i have to use optical and hdmi or what. Thanks in advance.

    Are you outputting to an LCD/PLASMA/STANDARD TV or a PC MONITOR?

    Your only option is HDMI to DVI and sound through optical.

    Composite, the yellow one, only carries video.

    it is if you connect the phono cables (the red and white ones) into something and leave da yellow out
