PS3 video on vga moniter

    i have a 19" wide screen moniter and i would like to get a ps3 and run it through the screen. hiwever it dosnt have hdmi obviously so i was wondering if i got a hdmi>dvi adapter and then a dvi>vga it would work? and if i did this would i still be able to get audio?
    if some one could help me that would be great.

    What type of monitor do you have (Model Number + Brand) That might work... my only concern is that you might loose the HDCP. So we need to see if your monitor is HDCP compatible. You woud need to use the optical port or the Composite audio cables for Audio.

    You may be better off getting a component lead and a component to VGA converter.

    that is good that the adio will work :D
