PSP 4G Hard Drive useless?

    Has anyone had much sucess with the Datel PSP Hard drive in terms of loading backup isos or homebrew?

    Never used the fugly thing. Heard only horror stories about it and its NDS counterpart.

    And besides a 4GB Memory stick pro duo is cheaper

    seriously it's useless because who really wants that huge bulge on your psp and it's cheaper to buy a 4GB memory stick like what "The_Arc" said, probably the only benefit is maybe a little faster iso loading and that's about it.

    I actually picked up one of them very cheap at an online retailer's box day sale, but to date I've yet to be able to load an ISO with it. Using the same procedure allowed the same ISO to run on my 1gb memory stick just fine. Is there an issue that prevents this drive from being able to load iso files (generates an error when I try to launch that I can't remember off the top of my head) or do I need to go through an additional step to make it work?
