Help please..i am trying to transfer mp3's to my daughters psp slim. when we plug it in and transfer using the usb card reader it will transfer a couple of songs and then lose its connection and say location not found. we have to keep re-connecting it to transfer. has this happened to anyone else and how do you fix this problem? why does it keep losing the connection? we have also tried using media manager to do this it shows the songs in the pane but not on the psp when you look for them. any ideas? thanks and have a great day!

Place the Memory Stick in the PSP. Go to Game Menu memory Stick and select triangle. Now go to Information.

If it says Unknown or Unsupported under Magicgate then you have a fake memory Stick.

The symptoms above tend to lean toward a fake stick.

If it is fake then nothing can be done. Your best bet is to buy a new 1 and stick with retail stores when buying them.
