I had a PSP ta-82 v 2.71 and can switch to v1.50 by using Devhook. I followed a fuide from this site
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/491019

My question is that, is my motherboard still a ta 82 or its like any other motherboard.

If i decide to upgrade, do u think i must search for guides for Ta 82 again or any other guides.

    Thanx

you cant change the mobo version via software, only by physically removing it and putting in a new one

true...true...the physical mobo is the same.

but now that you've downgraded, it will behave like any other mobo. you can now upgrade to any custom FW like you would normally. The only tricky thing with getting custom FW is going to FW v 1.5

from there everything is normal...if you can call it that. when you want to upgrade your FW, just get the update and run it...but keep it custom FW!
