I was considering buying a new thin pstwo, I haven't looked into it much and I was wondering if there is any possibility that you could add a hard drive to it?
    thanks

i expect loading speed would suffer. this is important as a lot of games load while you play. i believe the ps2 uses usb 1.1?
you're much better off sticking with the original if you're serious about using a hard drive.

I believe the new slimline is USB 2.0 so transfer rates should be ok. Any news on the USB hard drive connection? I had my old PS2 nicked and am desperate to get hard disk up and running on new slimline!
