PUT MOVIES ON CD-R AND READ IN PS2

    i converted a avi movie with TMPGEnc to mpeg format to read it in my ps2 but i burned it with nero in the video cd section and it doesnt work. with what can i burn my mpeg movie so my ps2 will be able to read it ???

    You can't. PS2 doesn't support VCD nor SVCD. Only way is to buy DVD-R, AFAIK.

    There is actually a method to play Mpeg-2 Video. It involves, downloading a 1mb ps2 game that has a dummy file as the entrance movie. You would have to encode to 6500kbits/sec video with wav audio. You would'nt fit much of a movie on the cd. You would also have to use a mod chip/boot method to play the disk but I am going to spear myself the soreness of typing a very large tutorial on a forum. You should be able to download instructions off kazaa or something.
