putting contents of a dual layer dvd onto 2 4.75gb dvd's

    Is there a way of putting contents of a
    dual layer dvd onto 2 4.75gb dvd's?

    There are quite a few ways to do it. Which one you should used depends on whether you want to keep the menus, whether the menus need to work (ie you can copy them as titles), and how much money you're willing/able to spend. For a simple movie only copy you could use DVD Shrink in Re-author mode to do it. At the other end of the spectrum is DvdReMake which can split the disc with the menus intact but costs between $25 and $40 depending on whether you buy the regular or Pro version. There are other programs that can do either one, but those are the 2 I would recommend.

    Edit: Oh, and single layer DVDs are actually 4.37GB. They're marketed as 4.7GB but that really means they're 4,700,000,000 Bytes which is 4.37GB.
