    Hi,

    I've just taken delivery of 2 x 25 packs of supposedly grade A media from http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/ .

Because I had not previously used this type of disc (usually go for the 'frosted top' Ritek) I checked through both packs only to find a fairly high amount of dust/contamination.

I've reported the problem back to SVP, but I wondered if anyone here has had similar problems with this type of unbranded printable Ritek media?

I know you get what you pay for, and if I can't get decent cheap media I will have to pay out for the CloneDiscs...

Ritek just make the dye for the discs, they don't always have control (or even knowledge) of the quality of disc production/packaging.

Ritek dont produce the Datasafe brand, Datasafe just use the G04 dye on their discs. The quality doesnt compare to Ritek - Traxdata, Clone Disc, RiDATA
