hey, i just scanned my comp with AVG free, and i came across the same trojan in two of my files, i have them contained but i am curious about where they may have come from and what exactly this one does. the trojan is Trojan Horse PSW.Banker3.AQQ . i found it in my sonic recordnow express labeler statx. exe file and a system volume file. any ideas?

iam sorry i know this doesn't answer your question but please read.

be very careful when dealing with avg. it comes up with false positive a lot and sometimes tells you that perfectly fine working programs are dangerous, even when they are in the right file location!

an example is dvdfab decrypter. it says its malware and wants to delete it.

see if your sonic recordnow express labeler statx is working without problems!

do the same with your sound

if no problems after that then its probs safe to delete.

i just read some reports and it seems onyl avg is picking up this type of trojan.

which means that that file is safe to release

    whats the other?
