Does reformatting a hard drive and reinstalling programs often on a hard drive affects its health and slows it down? Also, my pc constantly has a 54 degree celsius processor temperature, is that high? If yes, what should be a normal processor temperature? Also, do you absolutely have to use a floppy to boot in DOS or can you also use a USB? If yes, how (I'm using Windows Vista, by the way)?

    1. How often is "often"?

    2. What processor, what speed, what sort of case, do you live in a hot place?

    3. You can use a CD ROM or a USB device to boot to DOS. The OS you are using does not affect how you boot to DOS. (The settings in the BIOS do)
