Ok, so I want to burn a couple of avi files that are around 740mb onto a 700mb cdr. Obviously, i need to use overburning(unless i'm mistaken and it just tells you to finalize, but whatever).

My question is, is it safe to use overburning with files this large(i heard that newer cd writer drives won't get damaged, and i have a newer one)? And will it actually work without a problem(will it retain the original quality, and this will be a data cd)?

740 is prolly a tad much for Nero.

Any suggestions for a possible course of action?
