Question about the Microprocessor?

    What does the term:
    1mb L2 cache mean.
    Is it the stored memory in the processor?

    amount of ram on cpu of 1meg

    does that make for faster data exchange?

    yes. if take 2 identical cpus in speed but different amount of cache, the 1 with larger cache will be faster than smaller cache in proccessing info but you pay for it in money wise as about half as much again as smaller cache cpu
