i have a modded xbox with the oem hdd and an xbox live account. one of the topics here says that switching the hdd will block xbl accounts. is this true? as i want to change the hdd to a bigger one but don't want to lose my xbl account. hope that makes sense, thanks for any info!
when you first signed up for xbox live, did you sign up with the stock hd? if you did you must use the stock hd to sign onto live...if you sign on the the upgraded hd you will be banned....the only way to get around this would be to obtain a new eeprom and flash your xbox.
