Is it true that once your system is detects to have hacked fw and banned from live, you can never use that console to connect to live and play online anymore? Is it banned forever? so if you paid for 1 year of subscription, it basically goes to waste.
What if your subscription expired and if you renew at a later time, are you still banned or do they reset the status? Thanks!

yeah im afraid... banned means banned. You will never see the light of online multiplayer again unless you purchase a new 360 consule or get a new key vault. (Currently I think there are around mabye 10 people who have replaced keyvaults) so until something is changed if you are banned you are banned. However If your careful theres a good chance you won't get baanned (not making any promises though). Make sure you check all of your games with xdvdmulleter and definately check the crc online database. If your careful your one step away from microsoft.

Okay, first off M$ hasn't detected the Hacked Firmware! They only detected if you were playing a backup that was considered a "bad rip"! Second, No only your system is banned from Xbox Live, not your Account! So if you had a year subscription and your Console was banned, you could just transfer your account to another 360 and play it on there!

You can always play on Kai if you get banned on XBL, lol there were like 5 Xbox 360 players on it the other night.
