Hi all, i am new to this forum and just joined afterdawn.

I have used whole different range of dvd rippers and and some encoders, especially DVD shrink.
With DVD shrinks version of 3.2 i believe they have made some useful upgrades. When compressing dvds with shrink i think the quality is very good however what my question is, when ripping and encoding with DVD shrink without any compression, does the encoding engine in shrink replicate the same exact quality as the original dvd?

No. A copy will always be slightly diminished from the original, even if it is just a matter of copying 1's and 0's. However, in Shrink's case, this quality loss is so negligible that we mere mortals can't tell the difference. It would certainly take better eyes than mine.
