Not sure if I posted this on the right part of the forum, but...

I have just gotten a DVD Burner, and have a PlayStation 2 which I use as a DVD Player. My PS2 manual says that it will support DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, and DVD+RW, but that it will only play back discs that are "finalized". I have DVD-R discs.

I want to burn some video files I have on my computer as DVD so that they will be playable to watch in the PS2, but in order to do taht, they need to be "finalized", and I have no clue how exactly to "finalize" them? How do you finalize burned DVDs on DVD-Rs?

If you use Nero...there is a check box on the screen when you hit 'burn'. It asks if you want to finialise it.

Finalise means you can no longer write anything else onto the disc.

    Adder.

Is there a certain way to do it in any other software. such as Sonic MyDVD or DVDSanta, or do they all do that automatically?
