    I am interested in purchasing a region code-free DVD player. I recently moved from England to the US, and my DVDs won't play in my Region 1 player. I read that all Panasonic players will auto-detect the region and will play all. I was wondering if anyone could back that up before I purchase one.

    You will still need a region code to use it though. Its not about regions as such, its mroe to do with America DVD players arent to hot at playing PAL DVD's. Make sure to get one that plays PAL and NTSC
