Quick question on buying a wiikey at modchip.com

    If I also buy the solder and the wire, I still have to buy myself a solder gun huh?

    Well, solder and wire is great, but unless you have somehting to melt the solder with and apply it, then it wont actually DO anything.. so to make the story short, yes you will still need a soldering IRON.

    Ok thanks, does anyone know what specif solder iron do I need?

    Most people use a 15 watt soldering iron for a WiiKey installation.

    The kit does not come with a soldering gun, but you can easily get one at radio shack, I personally used a 15 watt gun and put it in with no soldering experience at all (which was probably not the best idea), but it works fine. The kit they send is just small wires and really thin solder, which you can get at radio shack too if you wanted.
