ok so i have 3.03 OE-C and am tempted to upgrade to 3.40 OE-A. however i like customising the XMB and am aware that trying to flash a topmenu to any custom firmware above 3.03 OE-C causes a semi-brick. so my question is: how do i add a custom topmenu to 3.40 OE-A? is it as simple as replacing the original topmenu with the new customised one (by accessing flash0 via usb) or do i have to modify it in some way?

thanks to anyone that can help

so your saying i can flash a customised topmenu to 3.40 OE without any worries of semi-bricking?

u MIGHT get a semi-brick here and there. but as long as you don't go mess around outside the resources folder, you can always just replace your flash0 with your backup folder. semi-brick is NOTHING to worry about really.
