Just booted up my first build using Windows XP Home. Had intended to use Raid 0 with my two identical drives but balked when I realized I needed a floppy drive to install the nvidia raid drivers. Having second thoughts and wanted to know what happens to my two separately partitioned and formatted hard drives if I go out, buy a floppy, install XP again on a Raid 0 array. Does the reinstallation process reformat and partition the two separate drives as a RAID 0 array only, or have I done something by formatting the drives? I'm also having a hard time finding some good information on the process from the MOBO company, (EVGA), so any advice their would also be appreciated.

Are you sure you wish to use RAID0? You are aware of it's disadvantages right?
I'd recommend you keep the two drives as they are.
