    hey all,

(im a noob at upgrading computers so plz speak english)

i want to make my desktop computer faster, as at the moment it is slow. as far as i understand i could replace the ram with a new one (that obviously has a larger memory) and that would make my computer faster. am i right?

how would i go about doing this?

where can i found out about the info about pins etc...? (i dont kno what these are but i saw it somewhere) so that i can get the right type of ram

    ta for any help

In the CPU-Z window there are many tabs acroos the top such as CPU, Cache, Mainboard, etc. You want the one labeled Memory. In this window it will tell your the type of memory you have and how much Ram is currently installed. The tab named SPD, it should be right next to memory, also has a wealth of RAM related info.
