When ever I am browsing the internet on firefox I get ads popping up on IE and I dont even use IE. Its very annoying and when i try to close the window my computer lags sometimes. I tried using NoAdware and it got rid of some adware but im still getting the random pop ups when ever I use the internet.

Download an add-on for firefox called Adblock Plus not sure if it works but you can block ads on site just right clicking and adding the image to your block list. For IE i dont know cuz i dont use tht crap anymore

    NO!

IE is part of Windows. If you unistall IE, you can say goodbye to Windows.

Use this link to get HijackThis.
Save it to your desktop and then double-click to run it.
It will install the program in c:\program files\HijackThis.
Browse to that location with windows explorer, and double click on the HijackThis.exe program to run. Choose the 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'
That will allow you to save the log to the desktop (or some other place) and leave open a notepad file with the HijackThis log in it.

Now post your HijackThis log into this topic.

I fixed my problem and here is how. Used spy bot search and destroy in safe mode because it wouldn't delete a certain file cause it was running.(should have known)
