RAW VIDEO

    is it possible to change a raw video file to an AVI file so I can change it to a DVD?

    anyone gor a programme for it.

    Dont know mate sorry.

    A friend bought a DVD video camera videod some stuff but he thinks he set the camera on the wronge setting, it wont play through my PC I get a message saying unsupported format.

    it's either a RAW file or a VMG i've tried DVD decryptor and a few other programmes but non will open it?

    any ideas greatly appreciated.

    How did you get the video into the PC, did you use Windows Movie Maker?

    I would have thought that it would already be MPEG-2. You wouldn't fit much raw video on a DVD at any rate.

    it's still on the disk, my computer wont open the disk files I just get a message "invalide file" when I check properties on the disk it shows up as a RAW file?

    from Google ect it seems like the Raw files is for pictures now movies?

    any ideas on how to get it onto my PC and swopped over welcome.
