    Yes he was. To bad his death is being overshadowed by the death of Ronald Reagan. He has hardly had any mention in the media.

    shit!! ray charles died?? man that sucks. as for Ronald Regan, i remember the whole time he was in office, and yes he was a good man, but for christs sake put him in the ground already!! Damn, Ray Charles dead, that sucks. So long Mr. Soul.

    Among the artists that did "We Are The World" in 1985 it was Ray Charles at this piano and Stevie Wonder at his side to get food to the starving people of Africa.
    He did his good for the world and we also are the world he sang to R.I.P. Ray Charles
