I have Plextor 712 external DVD burner that i am using to read and burn DVD's. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hrs. to read the DVD and another 1.5 to 2 hrs to burn.
    Is this normal?
    IDE is set to DMA
computer is 1.3 MH with 512 RAM
Using DVDXCOPY xpress, also tried it with dvd decrypter and dvd shring and get the same results.
I also am not able to view DVD's on my computer i get a message saying that it was unable to set up subscripture.
    Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 1.5GHz machine running X Copy Xpress. It should have been named "ALL NIGHT LONG - Slow boat to coasters". Mine takes the whole day to copy and write (if it ever completes it). So much for technology. And the movie industry thinks they are loosing sales? If they wouldn't paid some dumb smuck $1 million for a lousy film, I would pay $2 for a copy of the movie to watch later.
