    Hey tigger27
Check the back of the discs for any smudges, fingerprints, scratches etc. This can cause read errors. Clean them off with something non abrasive and in a non circular motion.

    Recorder: <QSI DVD+-RW SDW-082> Version: LX44
Update the firmware on the burner too - the latest is LX48.

Still fails then rip this disc w/ Decrypter.
You can rip in ISO mode then burn with decrypter or just rip in file mode then burn those files w/ Nero.

Thanks for the info. However, I don't know which firmware package to pick when I click on the link. I have a Gateway computer.
    Thanks again!!

Thanks. Ran the Roxie zapper. (Where does it say in my log that I have Roxie?)
Downloaded the LX48 but when I try to open the program I saved, get error message "Windows cannot ope this file. Use the web service to find the appropriate program OR select the program from a list? What program will open this?
    Thanks again!!

Ok it's a rar file & you'll need to extract the .exe file.
Here's a link for WinRAR. Free trial and still works after the trial is up.
Install this then you will be able to open the file and extract the .exe.
When running the .exe have no blanks in the drive, close any running programs and keep the power on. May have to pick the drive from a dropdown. Pick the SDW-082.
When done (doesn't take long) you'll usually get a pop up saying done, successful something like that.
Reboot and the firmware should be updated.

The Roxio bit - you can tell by this in the Nero log: File 'Drivers\CDRALW2K.SYS'. That's a Roxio driver that I think has come w/ some versions of WinAmp also.
