Was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is possible to rebuild PS1 games into a DVD size image. I use Swap Magic and want to backup some old PS1 games, but do not want to use CD-R's in my v12 PS2.

So is it possible to rebuild PS1 games with dummy data into a DVD size image or is this just a pipe dream?

    Thanks for the link.

I realize cd's are cheaper and would not require rebuild, but I have heard from several people that cd backups are taxing on the laser. I have a few cd backups and I hate playing them because they spin so erratically and fast it just seems unstable. Thanks for the link/guide; I will get in the 'lab' and test that out.

Ok, I think I spoke a little too soon.

I know how to rip games

I know how to rebuild PS2 cd to dvd.

My question is, can you rebuild PS1 CD's to DVD size for loading with Swap Magic DVD or is that impossible?
