He folks, I am wanting to mod my X-Box, and not sure which mod chip everyone is using now? I have read up on a couple, but have yet to find enough information to make me choose one over the other. Which chip is the hot chip to have now days? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

UNLESS U HAVE ALREADY GOT A CHIP I HAVE THE EXECUTER2 CHIP. IT IS AWESOME BECAUSE U CAN STORE ABOUT 60 GAMES AT ABOUT THE 3000MB EACH. IT HAS ABOUT 25 SKINS. YEH THATS ABOUT IT I RECCOMEND EXECUTER 2

ya, I have had numerous recommendations for the X 2.6 lite chip, so I will end up ordering one next week. did you install yours, or have it done, and if you did the install yourself, how difficult was it? I modded my PS2 with no issues, so I figure this should be fairly simple. Thanks!

I reccomend the Xecuter 2.6 chip. If you're confident with the soldering, then it's easy to fit and set up, and team executer have an excellent website with tutorials for every stage of the modding process, and helpful forums too.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I got the 2.6 from modchipman, fast shipping! I have it installed, and all works great.

What's so great about it storing games at approximately 3 gigs a piece? Doesn't sound too awesome to me.

    Quad,

With Slayer's Evox, you can install a bigger hard drive. I had the same thinking as you did, but one of the guys who is helping me learn all this stuff told me the first thing I wanted to to was pull the old 10 gig drive, which I did. I installed a 120, and will probably end up putting in a 250.
