I have and use nero for burning both my cds and my dvds. latly when burning with the program i have noticed something that was interesting. when burning a cd the recorder buffer stays at about 97 to 98 percent. but when i burn a dvd it fluxuates from 98 to 50 to 7 back to 98 and so on. i was wondering if anyone would know why it seems to do this, and if you would know how to fix it.

    thanks for the help

Dvd's contain alot more information than cd's so the read speed will fluctuate according to disc condition, Cpu, available memory and hard drive buffer size. This in turn effects the software buffer. Your result seems normal.
