Recording from DVD player to Video Tape

    Hi.
    I Have a DVD with a close relative's marriage and i want to write it to a Video Recorder Tape.
    I Used various programs but i can't get signal to the VCR....
    Any Ideas??

    might need a signal booster perhaps..

    are you using a s-video/rca outputs (one from video card, one from soundcard)? i assume you are, what type video card do you have? it might be a macrovision thing... i know that some tv output encoders won't play on vcr or anything that detects macrovision.. i've seen a few programs that let you bypass that which might be worth trying... or.. you could find a friend that has a dvd burner and copy it without macro vision and then connect a standard consumer dvd player to a vcr and dub it..
