Recording time vaies greatly from burn to burn

HI I am using Vision Express 2 and am finding that sometimes the burn 'time remaining' will be 6 hours, sometimes 3 - for the same material. That is 2 episodes of a soap with almost identical lengths.
Any ideas?

I don't think that the 'time remaining' gauge is very reliable. This is an opinion of course but I I hope it helps.

 

I would suggest you check to see if your DMA is on, heres a guide to turn back on
