Hello, quick question for everyone. Can anyone tell me whether DVDXCopy was meant only to record at 4X or if I should be fine recording at 8X. The only 8X discs I have tried posed problems, but all 4X were fine. I had heard DVDXCopy was not meant to be used to record at 8X. Could someone verify?

    Hi shark29, welcome to aD,

DVD XCopy is software and doesn't have anything to do with your burning speed -

Many pple burning at 8X experience some errors, dropping to 4X is recommended to insure fewer errors. Burning errors have to do with the discs you're using and your burner and it's data transfer speed. The speed of your software is controlled by your processor and your RAM, NOT YOUR burner or your discs!

    Cheers,

    Pete
