recover mpeg sound help please

    I have got a home movie that I wanted to write to dvd.converted it from avi to mpeg with tmpg and wrote out with dvd-lab.dvd lab seperated the mpeg into video and audio files but the audio file plays for 1 min and then goes silent.because of disc space i deleted the original files and only have the silent audio track.can anyone help with recovering the audio from the exsisting files.

    Kinda sounds like you need to do the conversion again.

    I'm pretty sure that all thats left on your computer is the 1 minute audio file.
    Check the properties of your audio file. That should give you and idea of how much is left. If it's just a couple of MBs then it's probably gone.
    Why don't you let TMPGEnc do the demuxing? It is much more reliable than letting DVD Lab do it.
