Ok, so a buddy had a 360 Phat with a 60 Gig HDD, he chose to sell the console, but kept his HDD, afterward he used a transfer cable to move his profile and most of his saves to another buddies slim.. Since then he has lost contact with said buddy, obviously his gamertag can be recovered online, but he is curious if there is any way to recover the lost saves off his original HDD as it hasnt been used?? I still have the transfer cable, and obviously they dont show on the xbox, but i was hoping maybe there was a tool to recover the data??

you can take apart the fat 360 60 gig hard drive, remove the HDD it's self and
purchase a slim 360 HDD shell and you can use it in the 360 slim.

If he used the official transfer cable it more than likely deleted the 60gb after it was done the dam thing did it it to mine

other option is use a thing like a talismoon usb minispy kit & to extract or inject data, you can use the free party buffalo or le fluffie softwares that are similar but far superior than that junk xplorer360 & save the lot to a pc
