I have an xecuter 2.3 lite plus and I de-soldered the holes, put the chip in (like 3 weeks ago) and it worked fine, I have used flashftp and backed up my games, done it all...now for some reason today I tried to start up my xbox, out of no where all I get is:

3 failed attempts to start up, ending with the flashing red/green light on the cd tray open button. It has worked before, so I am pretty sure the chip is fine, but what must I do? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah, it happened to me too. I really don't know why it does that, and I think, while it doesn't seem like the most logic explanation, that it's a wire problem. Back home, my xbox use to flash red/green and get me to and error message saying that I had to call my xbox dealer. Then, I would restart it for about 20-30 times and it would work out of nowhere at mixed intervals. Sometimes, it would take two times before xecuter would start and sometimes, 20 times. But anyways, got home for the holidays and brought my xbox back with me. I connect it with my brotgher's wires, and now, it's working great. as soon as I open it, it works. So that's why I think it might be a wire problem.
