reencoded divx avi

    I have converted my reencoded divx avi to dvd, using cucusoft. I then transcoded it for burning to dvd using nero to a folder on harddrive, resulting in a
    video ts. I can play the vts files on harddrive using nero showtime
    but when burnt to dvd. the dvd wont play on my standalone dvd player.Any help would be welcome thanks

    Are you absolutely certain the standalone supports that media type? :)

    My dvd player plays vitually everything but not avis
    when i put it in the dvd player it recognises it as dvd but then continues to show load and nothing happens .i reburnt thinking dirty dvd but same again
