Reinstall XP after Vista Beta

    OK, I had a similar problem not so long ago. Here's what I did...

    My drive was a WD. The install/diagnostic tool available on Western Digital site is executable from a self-booting CD or floppy for the primary drive, as well as within an op system for adding a second or third HD.

    This utility allows reformatting, repartitioning, and a bunch of other stuff.

    This is how I found out that Win2K Pro will handle HDs > 200GB if the Service Pack 4 is installed.

    Well I finally got what I wanted done. I just used my Vista disc and formated the hdd. I got lucky enough that my friend I hung out with today had a copy of Windows Professional 2002 sp2. So i used that to boot with and installed. Thanks for everyone who contributed though!
